Infrastructure
Base Map - ArcGIS 10.1
Methodology
This project demonstrates how the various features and data sets can be added into an existing map. This started out as a basemap with the roads layer and city limits. Then the pressure zones of the city were identified and symbolized. The fire department also utilized this map, so it was agreed upon that the hydrant layer would be added. The Infrastructure team used Trimble GeoXT units to collect the GPS readings for the relief valves, pump stations and water tanks.
